Only know one personally he was in my orientation group guy named teddy he runs ltl out of ecru. Good guy. Lives somewhere close to the pilot. -
Gotcha, I been off the road for nearly 8 years working offshore. I drove out of New Albany hauling sticks. Hauled Ashley furniture quiet a bit. Most guys go there don't leave. I been looking at how i can get back on the road. If i can manage it I will be at Ashley.

ncmickey, RockinChair, mjfreespirit and 6 others Thank this. -
No just figured I ask since almost everything else was basically awnsered.
Seen companies do hair or blood and was reading that one did spinal fluid.
Alot changed from just peeing in a cup. -
They're a little technologically challenged lol
Only about 10 years behind the times but that's a good thing in some cases.
All of our dispatch is handled over the peoplenet as far as assignments but arrival/departure/any communications are still handled by phone. You're expected to call in to the cube farm for everything. That personal contact makes things run a little better than just dealing with someone over a screen and having no real contact with them. Send them a message on the box it may or may not get read and answered lol
You get a monthly cell phone allowance of $30. Not much but does defray some of the cost as they expect you to be reachable when needed. Never been bothered at home on my time off or in the truck on break.
Standard physical nothing fancy. No hair or blood or any of that crap.Pharroh336 and trucker43 Thank this. -
That's all I was looking for. It's hard to find info like that on ashley. Only downfall u can take the truck home with u. But all those benifits out weigh that.
On the truckload side are u just bumping the dock and drop and hook no touch and ltl are unloading there trls?
I'm sure the trucks got all the bells and whistles to them too. I assume you load at a ashley DC then take it to the stores. What's there scaling like. Meaning are you going to a cat scale every trl load.
The one company I ran with dedicated didn't know how to load half a trl load but still over weight and you weren't a looked to go into the loading docks. -
What model are the kw trucks
-
680's
Sweet rides. This is mine.
trucker43, White_Knuckle_Newbie and 28 Thank this.
