Don't panic if you don't hear anything for awhile. It can be a slooooooooow process!

LoL thanks househunter. Still waiting! Not worried though. Have a decent job to keep me going for now and vacation next week anyway.

Just curious Ryan, did you hire on with Ashley, if so how do you.like it? I did a phone interview with them today. They want ne to come in for a face to face....was a little surprised when he told me it was out 6 to10 days out on ptp. Told him I'd call back tomorrow.

What location? I'm PTP out of NC. 5 1/2 to 6 days out tops. Never been out longer than 6 days. Same for the guys running out of Fl

This would be out of Arcadia. I live about 75 miles from there. I was told LTL was home weekends but probably not ptp.

Yes I did make the move over to Ashley and I'm loving it. I'm out of Arcadia on the ltl side. The money is great and so far I havent had any problems. There seems to be little to no ######## here unlike most other places. If you have a problem or a question you just call and they have an answer right away.
I don't know much about ptp. I think they tell people what they do so people don't come in with huge expectations. What I mean by that is telling you about being out 10 days but in reality I don't think anyone is really out that much. They also low ball the numbers about pay. I know for a fact that I'm way over what they told me I'd probably make. I'm also home every week for about 40 to 48 hours.

I am going to call back in the morning and schedule the interview with the transportation manager. I'll ask him about more of the specifics. Thanks for the response. I thought about the LtL but a little concerned about pushing furniture to the back of the trlr. I was doing flatbed work for the last couple of years so physically maybe it's not much different. How tight are the deliveries to your drops and how many do you do in a week?

I find the ltl to be rewarding physically and financially. I won't lie there is some places that make you scratch your head wondering how your gonna get a truck into. But for the most part its not to bad. As far as how many drops in a week it verys. Some weeks it can be 30 to 40 and others like this week can be 10 to 15. Some weeks you make your money off the drops and others you make it off your miles. And then you have those weeks where you do both and then you smile all the way to the bank.
