You need to show that time as employed or not, but best to mention employment .. You can give detail about it. Maybe say there was a misunderstanding, wether you were on or off the clock.

Didn't you get to drive on a hiway in school?
Biggest problem in Ft Worth is staying off the highways... the school was really close to I-20 and I 35W.... we did get lots of practice (about a hour loop) driving on the on's and off's and turns and access roads and in and out of parking lots and making u-turns under freeway bridges.... even had a little uphill with a traffic signal at the top, which always seemed to turn red just as you got there!... and you can't let the truck go backwards because all this is in traffic.

Texas traffic engineers love loops and high places for overpasses. No need worry about trailer height, most of the new overpasses are 16' and up.....

    Good luck,
    Mary

Nope not a lot of hwy driving. Only the part the dmv takes you on. I did get to go a few miles one time but then that instructor got in trouble and was told only do the dmv route. And he also did take me on one hill. So ya im a little worried but it what it is. CDL school is definitely not the real world. Im always positive though, but did figure out one thing my mind is on the road and tires and cars did not even think about smoking. Lol

City driving is hairy in Ft Worth. Lots of trucks and cars and idiots.
Where we tested was 40 miles from the school, so we never really went on the dmv route. The instructor pointed out the roads we'd be on as we drove to the test site. We did go early enuf to practice parallel parking at the test site. They do the backing and parking on a side stretch of access hiway...Texas has lots of access hiways. I did get to drive down and back from Ft Worth to Waxahachie, tho.
I'm going to get my b.f.'s dash cam and put it on my bike and film the practice route we took for school.... I bet I can do it way faster on a motorcycle than in a truck! :biggrin_2551:
    Good luck,
    mary
