City driving is better practice anyway with the traffic, stop lights, lots of shifting practice.

I currently work for swift and am miserable. My son said that may treated him like family when was there ten years ago. Do they still do that? Also do they have elogs? Where are the freight lanes for the dry box division? How many miles do you generally get?

Im off to Phoenix on Sunday. Im not sure at this moment how to feel, its all real now im excited and scared at the same time. I am going to make sure I try to absorb all the information I can from my trainer. I really admire all you drivers and hope that I will be a real driver one day. Wish me luck

Good luck krazyhorse. I remember how I felt when I went out with my trainer. I couldn't believe I was actually doing it. Both nervous and excited at the same time. That was 4.5 years ago.

    krazyhorsechick Thanks this.

You will do fine .. Keep confident and relax. When doing yer skils test, take yer time, Get Out And Look (GOAL) as many times as ya want .. It's not about speed.

Side note .. Will be driving thru Reno Tomorrow.

krazyhorsechick and Mr. Jay Thank this.

What pre employment testing does May do these days? They are top on my list and I am wondering what to expect. Would I need to get out the old pretrip test I got from the DMV? A non-DOT physical?
