Sorry. Typo. 3/14. #### that 3 is close to the 4... And also thanks for the heads up. My state actually started that program this year so I faxed mine in this summer, but I don't know if alot of drivers realize this.

Oregon told me I don't need to have the card on me when I drive, although I still will, since it is linked at their office to my license and since you can't have a CDL without them having a copy you don't have to keep your card on your person.

Take it for what it's worth though, the guy sounded new.

Im still here at the motel. I took the drive and the skills so I passed. It was not all that easy those skills if you are not training on a 53 but I did it.
I did have to get out and look a lot.
But im still here so I guess that is good. And everyone is really nice.

Ok trainers. Today we got a message on the QC about a driver not wanting to continue on because his jakes werent working and he felt it was unsafe. Also, he says he was trained to go down hills at 5low. Now I am lmao as I type this thinking about it. Come on now. Some of you so called trainers are barely new to trucking and should not be training at all. I know a few guys who are training and they barely made the 3 month requirement and just started driving. You know who you are. And to think that May is the better place to get started in trucking. Too funny.

Personally, I feel a Trainer must have both 5 years AND 500,000 miles under the belt before being a Trainer. At the Minimum!!

Its all about the extra ten cents they get for training. Well atleast they have someone to do it cuz I sure as hell wont ever train.
I was in Ohio last week and it was painful to watch one of our own back in to a hole. I wanted to tell the driver to get out and I will back it for him. You know its bad when the hostler rolls his eyes at you. And to make it worst, the hostler told him to move over cuz he was off and dude got pissed off. All I can think of was who the hell was his trainer? He sure got his ten cents worth.

What is May's policy on chaining? Do they like you to chain, or not drive?
