It got so beaten into my head while at May, I cannot get out of a truck any other way now.

Sorry if I missed these answers in other threads:

    - What are the average miles per week for the 11 Western vs all 48?
    - How much of MTC's freight is drop and hook for the 11 and 48?

Yes, you missed the answers in the tons of other threads ;-)

Very little drop and hooks on either side, on the miles question, depends on so many factors it's hard to give an "average".

Maybe for O/O, not company drivers. I'm still in touch with many May drivers on the 11 side and believe me, they don't drop 50% to 75% of the time. Those are my contacts though, yours my vary ;)

So Scooter and Paloma, after reading through a fair number of posts, would it be safe to say average miles on the 11 side are 2000-2500 while on the 48 they can average 2500-3000?

Just jump in if your new the last thing you need to worry about is miles because to start you will be getting training pay. You need to learn the truck and how to really drive not school drive because it is no were near the same. Believe me lol. If you take the 11 and you dont like it you can change to the 48.

    Paloma Thanks this.

I was with May for 4 years. I averaged the same amount of miles on both the 48 and 11. 11 Western Dry is more drop and hooks, while the 48 refer is all live load/unload. ..

    Fair to say 2250 - 2750 a week average.
