So whatever they give me I can switch up to the Pete?

 

You can ask you'll most likely end up with a Pete. I loved my Pete but I really like having my brand new Freight cause I know how is been drove and no one's funk has been in it.

 

So if it's something new I can switch up? How has it been for you with May?

 

You won't get a new truck for while. Plus there no more new Pete's there are good Pete's here but they're only buying freights and internationals now. I've been with May since Oct 8th.

 

Do you like it? Are you getting any miles?

 

Yeah I'm getting miles they give you more it seems like when you don't take home time but I have a wife a 2 young kids at home that I love to see and for the last 2 months I've went home each month and have got dukie for miles but before that yeah at least 3k a week.

They assign you what is available. You don't get to choose. It'll be a good truck though. Allegedly, you can request to change (assuming that brand becomes available), but fat chance of that happening. I trained on a Freightliner, they assigned me a Pete. Go figure!

 

Then choose 48 States, not 11 Western.

 

Does anyone know if May pays for orientation, and how long does it take to get the first check? Looks like its gonna be tight paying the bills by the time I hit orientation, just curious if I need to make arrangements or not. Also does the first check get mailed or can we have it direct deposited?
