I can not pm you at this time as I don't have enough posts. I did check out some of your posts and videos they are informative and enjoyable. I am a smoker but if need be I can go all day, have had to do it for other training classes I have taken. I am a quick learner. I put in a application on line and will follow up with a telephone call tomorrow. Although I am not at school until next month I would really like to secure at least a intent letter and from what I have read May looks like the perfect place for me and it fits my values and my character. Thanks Steve for your info. Keep smiling!
Oh I am so disappointed right now. It seems that May doesn't have any female trainers at this time so they have put my applications on hold. I am not giving up, Leona told me to call back every few weeks and to check in. My other option is to go somewhere else for 6 months then transfer over as a experienced driver. I was really hoping it would work out for me. Maybe I will be able to join this family in the future, be safe and thanks for answering my questions.
I would keep in touch, This could change too. I really hope it works out for you, We need more professional female drivers around here.
Thanks Steve and I will continue to check in with Leona. She said they were looking for one. I guess trying the existing ladies there. Be safe!
Does May allow cb's in the trucks ?? every time i see a may truck I try to talk to the drivers but I get no answer.
Yes there is a hook-up for a CB in Mays trucks, but who really wants to listen to all the crap that seems to be on the air these days. I usually only pay attention to mine at Shipper/Reciever.
