Nope, recent trips were in the beat to hell school truck pulling an empty 28 footer. Trust me, 99 is worse!

I'm one of these drivers that likes to enjoy my time out, stop for a good meal now and then, and so on. I don't want to scrap for every penny. If I run 2,000 to 2,500 average I'm more than satisfied. Can I run like this for May? Are their delivery schedules real tight where you have to hammer down all the way to make it in time? Thanks! (Oh yes, and I do not fudge my logbook... is that okay?)
-
You would have to be a complete screw-up to get less than 2000/wk consistently. I'll only have 1500 this week, but only because I have a 1200 mile trip that won't deliver until JUST AFTER payroll cutoff.
EOBRs good luck fudging them for more than a few minutes... -
Call payroll and they can put that trip on this weeks check. You have to transmit it as soon as you can, but they will front it this week.
If you have an iPhone, there is a free Trippak mobile app that you can send it in from your phone. -
Oh, I know they can, but it'll be a good start to next week. I just paid all my bills for September today, so I can deal with a small check next week. I like seeing those extra fat checks every now and then

I know that feeling.

Warm.
Fuzzy.
Yeah...big fat checks! -
I heard that the May driver who rolled his truck in Denver was a trainer and had a trainee with him! Ouch! Here's the video clip of the story http://www.9news.com/video/1130703896001/0/Beer-truck-crashes-causes-I-70-traffic-problems-

Thanks for sharing that link. I was just at Denver yard saw the truck and wondered what happened. It sure looks like paying attention to a phone and not the road kind of thing!
