Well i dont mind answering the same question over and over cause things change and i would not want the new b to feel that he or she is being a bother, A DUMB QUESTION IS ONE THATS NEVER ASKED/ even though i am no longer driving a may truck May is still my family. I know i asked a lot of questions and all of you were very patient with me

not to change the subject, nobrands post just reminded me how often I see that comment, no longer driving a may truck. when I started training there were 2 other guys from my cdl school that also started and a few other trainees from other places over like a 3 week period in orientation out of denver. from like the group of 6, I'm the only one still here, as far as I know anyway. I know I spoke to the 2 that I went to school with and they both got local job offers. where is everyone going!!!! lol, i mean I know who they are working for now but man, I thought it would be a few months at least before I even thought of looking to see what other companies had to offer, or maybe its cause I don't want to be home so as long as Im moving im happy, for now anyway lol

Local jobs don't pay worth a sh$t. I've had a cpl offers and turned them down. Water tanker jobs in the oil fields are seasonal and the recruiters up there promise guys the moon.

Where i live, the oil field is allways active, however theres the boom then theres just staying steady, the guy that offered me this job was actually the owner, he has 20 trucks leased on with RNI, he told me $21.00 an hour 4 on 3 off and the average is 12hr days. I guess i will give it a try.Like i said earlier the only reason i am not at May is due to my relationship, i never thought that i would have to leave May, i do know that if it doesnt work i will be right back at May. But for now it is what it is. I really think its pretty cool that we have drivers like EFON, SCOOTER,JOKER,,and who ever else i misse take the time to answer questions, give advice and as i well know tell me what i dont want to hear, lol but needed to hear, you guys are awesome, STAY SAFE AND HAVE FUN

hi everyone. first of all, thanks for all the information. pretty much answered a lot of questions i might've had or never thought to ask.

but, there are two things i'm wondering about. does May have an deal going on with idleair? also, are there any pre-work fitness screens like they have at some other companies (lifting, pulling, pushing weights, etc)? i'm not really that much overweight, but i'm far from being fit. i have been some light exercise for a few weeks though. just hoping i'll be fit enough in case i get a call back on my application. :)

thanks for the reply. it's nice to hear about the physical endurance stuff, one less thing to worry about. i'm gonna have to do more research into other, non-invasive, ways to get power for my gaming needs. :)
