Ask A May Trainer

Efon and Bigray - thanks very much. As all experienced drivers know, there really should be a line 5 on a log, electronic or not. The fact that there isn't tells me pretty much everything I need to know.

I'll look elsewhere.

 

What are the qualifications to be a trainer at May and what trucks do they offer to lease?

 

I'm going to orientation at May's in Brooks on the 30th. Any last rites, er...last bits of advice
before I board the May train?
What to bring? What NOT to bring?

I am 51 years old, kids grown and changing careers. I am considering MTC as a viable choice.. Can you give me an honest answer about them and their management of Drivers?

 

Three months? That's it? And I thought it was bad enough that my first trainer back in 1999 only had 6 months. I know this isn't the only company doing that either. Nothing personal, but I think that's just wrong. A driver doesn't know enough after only three months, 6 months, or even a year to be a trainer as far as I see it.

 

CRE you can train right away

 

ITs a good starter company i reccomend them if you re just starting out
