Can someone tell me if the pre trip would be the same as the one in school.

 

I don't think the pre trip is part of there test but yes it would be the same one from school

 

when i went thru orientation, we went through a pre trip during the class, by word, not really 'doing' the pre trip, just explaining what we would check but like raydar said, we werent actually tested on it

 

They want me to test out next week I dont feel I know enough. Should I just say no im not ready. They think I am I think im not. What should I do

 

I think it really depends on what you paid for.

you have nothing to worry about you get three trys and if you don't pass you just re do the written test and try again

it took me 4 trys, I will admit it. The only reason is I stalled it on a hill and in California is a insist fail. on the fourth try I knocked out everything on one try got through the road test and I was good.

 

They would not let you solo if your trainer did not think you were ready.

OOOOH are you talking about your cdl school? lol i thought you meant with may. like said above, what did you pay for? my school I paid for a certain amount of hours on the course, and trust me I got all those hours in the truck

 

I feel I could pass the test im really not worried about that im worried iv not been down a lot of hills not been on the highway to much. The test is around town and im ok with that in fact I may be im crazy but I dont mind being around town in traffic. Im worried about hills and not been off to many exits. My friends say I over think things they could be right I just want to know I have all the confidence I need. Any one can pass a test and any one can hold a steering wheel. I want to be a truck driver.
