Yup 17 on I-5 and most of the OR WA locals use it everywhere.

 

Well May called me today wow they are fast I sent app yesterday and got a call this morning. Im hoping it does not take to long she said about 2 weeks
I take my finals next week and then my test the following week. I also apply to 2 other companies. She told me I have to be paired with another woman its company policy. But if they do not have anyone when I start that I could go with someone that is local and at night they would go home and I would stay in the truck. I said that was fine with me. Toes and fingers crossed please lol

 

I have no question I just want to rant lol
Im going down a.road with construction on it, there are guys paving and up ahead there are gardeners on the very side of the road and so I slow down like I was told by the instructor because he said one could have head phones on and step out and that we have to look at the big picture ( smith system )
So we get to the stop light and this guy pulling a doubles hazmat load starts yelling that we are going to slow. The instructor said its called learning.
I know there are supper truckers out there that never had to learn and think that they can speed through construction zones as for me im planing to enjoy my job and be safe while I do it.

I sent in my app and got a call. Was only told that they couldn't do anything until I actually had my cdl.
And since I live in Texas, I'd have to do 48.
Was hoping to do western 11. Oh well... test Monday. If I can learn to parallel park by then!

Hello just wanted to get some feedback on running the 48 states I've been with may going on 8
Months now all 11 western ready to move to 48 what do I need to be aware of or need to know
Before I take the next step

 

Hi. I have an orientation coming up and I haven't driven in a month. I am concerned about shifting and backing. Would you recommend I rent a truck and practice before coming in, or just wing on what I've got? Does May do their driving evals in street traffic or highway?
