I have noticed a greater camaraderie among flatbedders, than the other divisions. It is rather refreshing to see. I am married into a Driving family, none are flatbed. Their biggest complaint (aside from the regular ones) is how there is no brotherhood, the way it used to be, anymore. But they always see "those #### flatbed drivers yackin it up." I told her dad (retired from Werner) my plans for TMC, he called me crazy, but said it is a good choice, because I will be a part of a fraternity of "just as crazy" drivers. He then threatened my life if I pull a suicide load with his daughter along as a rider!

I didn't find the strictness as much of a problem as the bullying from management. -
