i know on public property such as a truck stop you will have to file a police report in order for the insurance to cover it. they need a copy of the report. you can file them online in most cities as far as i know.. don't even need to speak to an officer. then of course you have to pay the deductible to repair the damage.

My buddy that drives for Ceva had the K-1 disapproved. He had to apply for the K-3 and show bank statements with his new wife on the account. He also showed health insurance with the trucking company with her and her son added. All that along with the Chinese marriage certificate and they approved her visa. Maybe you will have better luck. We're in Beijing right now.
