If you really want home time, Home Depot or Lowes will give you 22- 30 hours per week and pay you about $300 per week. P.S. They won't be the same days or hours from week to week. You certainly like to complain a lot.

 

And truckers like to work for nothing and get abused. At least I speak up. You realize that they are trying to raise minimum wage to $15 and hour and most local trucking jobs are paying $20? This is insulting. I made $43K in 10 months in 2019 and was home every night. Save your stupid advice for someone else.

 

Actually, thanks to the “love letter” they left me, I have all sorts of information on who owns it. Basically it’s in a REIT portfolio owned by some NY property mongers. Can’t say they’re not keeping up the property because they just spent the last two days plowing it, and they have about 5 tenants but the big Kmart is vacant.

Read up about the owner too. He bought his first commercial property in the 80’s with a mortgage and a down payment of mostly maxed out credit cards. (So basically he was 97% leveraged? Is that even legal?) and he’s been buying properties ever since. Basically promising a stable return on investment to investors. Considering the huge downturn in commercial property coming around the corner, I’m betting they’re gonna be bigger jerks in the future if they can’t get that store rented out.

 

yes, welcome to how America works, corrupt, greedy, i scratch your back you scratch mine, paid off politicians etc, a society cant survive like this which is why in 50 yrs or more America is done. enjoy it while you can, your grandkids have a bleak future, good thing for them is they wont know the difference. like a frog in a frying pan.

Yes it is, and it’s been seeping into the whole TTR site. I think it has something to do with truck stop toilet seats.

Just because someone is about to be overpaid, doesn't mean the trucker is now underpaid.

 

I am a landowner and I decide what happens in my property. Same principle.
