Looks like it would be easier to back into a spot...

 

My cdl instructor was a car hauler and drove a flat nose he said they are great for city driving but in an accident they are bad news for the driver.

 

Don't have an accident. They are certainly off of my diet!!

 

drove trained people in cab over for 3 years with crst , and i really like them for getting into tight docks, my hardest time was getting used too a condo, felt like i was draggen my house around with me after that cab over bus i had before

 

Yeah real fun teaming in a cabover with CRST going through the Louisiana roads 12 years ago. You would be catching major air. In the bunk trying to sleep and while driving.

 

@dre..i was told directly by a recruiter that all company drivers are assigned the lw truck unless there is none available..

What is an lw?

 

A Light Weight tractor. Prime got together with some of our major shippers three years ago, and found a way to jam another 4000 pounds of cargo into a reefer trailer. They cut quite a bit of weight out of the trailer itself - Utility calls them the ECO49 series. But they also cut quite a bit of weight out of the tractor. It's a little shorter through the cab by removing the 18" cabinets behind the seats, one fuel tank and the upper bunk as well as going to wide single drive tires.

 

but that works for me, i can put my swamp cooler in were the jump seat goes, but the real question is , how does it pull on the hill if the denurted it hum.
