That or jumping a dead reefer off your truck.

Also, be sure to get some extra heavy duty jumper cables (I think they have some in the company store). When I first started, I brought the jumper cables from my car with me, within a week I had a dead battery and they started to melt when I used them to jump the truck.

You can drain the batts a lot more. If your company truck dies, you don't have jumper cables and you have RA send road service... they'll be taking the cost out of your check.

    ...more rosey news fer y'all.

    Peetro in York, NE

ginslly got in the shop late last night. It was a stinkin' lower radiator hose.
It was rubbin' on other lines and got a hole in it.
Those ####### at Bus and Truck missed it completely.

another thing I should probably already know.. how do i get this truck washed? DO i need to pre-arrange it with dispatch or just show up at a truck wash?

We've been playing in the snow/mud, this thing is freaking filthy.

Just go to an in-network truck wash. They'll want your truck, trailer and trip numbers, and it's charged to the company against a PO number. You'll have to put the PO number and amount on your trip sheet and scan the receipt. If you go to a out-of-network truck wash, you pay for the wash however you like (including a comcheck,) then complete a macro 23 to get your PO number for the trip sheet. Or... you can call the fuel/wash PO line, give them the info, and they'll send you a comcheck express code on your Qualcom terminal with a PO number.
