When hired, do I have to take the grey hound bus? Or can I be dropped off at the school by a family member?
It's just a matter of you getting there. Doesn't matter how..... Check into them reimbursing you if you provide your own way. (For what the bus would have been). They reimbursed me what the "Grey Dog" would have cost them, since I came across country on my own dime. Help offset my higher costs at least a bit.
If you pick your orientation day to something a couple weeks out you can usually find a flight that's only a few dollars more than the hound. When i flew out was $20 more than the hound, 4 hours vs 4 days! Best $20 i could have spent in my life!
I’m not gonna read this whole thread but have a question since it says to ask prime anything, here it goes; Why do 90% of prime drives I see in California drive in the wrong lanes and hold up traffic behind them? I have been cut off by them going up cajón pass numerous of times, others drive in the number 3 lane with there 4 way flashers on, when they should be in the slow lane, (translation; far right lane). Let me add, it’s not once in awhile..... it’s all the time I’m out there. When I see a prime truck, I won’t let him out of my sight, waiting for a bonehead move. Don’t there training program teach them the proper way of driving in California? Yes..... California has different laws while driving in traffic. If any of you are trainers (probably been driving a few months and made you a trainer) let your driving school división know that California has lanes restrictions. By not letting your students know, it will eventually get them a citation and which case prime will let them go and the student/driver will be out of a job and end up paying primes school with high interest. And if your a student driver..... BEWARE.
