Yup... good luck! Just remember, if you're going to sign a lease you're not being paid like a company driver. Its whatever you can sneak across the bottom line of your business.

I'd think more midwest for tanker yankin'... but being a reefer guy, that's only a guess. You'd really need to find one of the tanker guys at a truckstop, and bend his ear for a real answer on that.

I was a long time driver for Transcontinental Refrigerated in Pittston, which was bought out by Prime. Can anybody tell me if many of the Pittston TRL office personel stayed on board through the transition?

There are still some there - the garage crew has mostly moved on, unfortunately. I run across some of the drivers as well from time to time, still running for Prime. They are in the process of rebuilding the old terminal right now.

Was wondering about some of the drivers...Bill Schisler aka "Tenderfoot"...Billy Barnhart....Jim "Bear" Files....
Stacy and Lisa and Tom Hector in recruiting....Dan O'Brian in safety....Steve Williams in dispatch.... -
You get most of that 4.5 cents a mile back at the end of lease minus what ever costs it takes to fix the truck at end of lease.
