If I cant get in with millis (like there 6month then 1wk off) or maverick school. Probally have to go to sage lake city or find a school out of state. What kinda accident you have? Were you still a rookie? What the company do?

At present Flat Bed or Drop Deck can pay more, but a few years ago it was the worst. From my experiences, it runs in cycles. It pays to learn Flat Bed as well as Refrigerated. If you know both, you can haul dry box freight as it loads as a refrigerated van and besides it is all distribution of weight to insure you are not over on the axles. Doubles don't really pay a whole lot more but you must watch the bridge weight. Thus, you have a lot to learn know matter which way you go.

I would go drop deck if I were to go back out again. Others may not agree, but I have been off the road for a couple years now, so go with the information you can get from those on the road today.

    Good luck.

Same here, if I go back to OTR and buy another rig it'll be a step deck. I hope that doesn't have to happen, I'm beginnging to like this home every night and weekends way of life.

Call Davis transport or watkins shepherd they are located in Missoula Montana they offer flatbeding watkins shepherd also has vans too.

They will also provide you transportation to the terminal.

I belive that both offer the tution rembursment.

Search the web for them you could also pm me if you want the numbers.

If you want to drive otr do not just search localy for a job search nationwide.
