At a precipice

I don't know what the heart rate has to be for tankers, @ethos can probably answer that question since he was a trainer with a tanker company.

I was in the Navy with Chief Boatswains Mate germaphobe. It was entertaining being around him. Some one dropped his coffee mug and cracked it, but didn't tell him. He was sitting at a desk drinking coffee and noticed the crack. He went into a rage saying germs in the crack were watching him and laying in wait for him to touch the cup with his mouth. He gave us a lecture about how germs are smarter than we give them credit for and are always watching us for the chance to pounce.
