I was a company driver with ATS. I was offered a chance to go into Specialised out of orientation and did not take it.

I was exposed to a number of very good motivating loads there with ATS, one was the actual Flight of Intruder Movie A6 ####pit and frame going to a museum on the west coast, another was a pair of tanks from Aberdeen in running condition and so on. I knew then I had a made a mistake slamming van doors.

I would not lease on to anything with nothing less than a PAID FOR IN FULL TRACTOR. OR three, or ten etc. As a fleet. Not as a simple O/O so that if something did come up, the other trucks will spread the inevitable losses.

Buddy of mine, Jesse has been over there for 9 months so far and swears by it. Said when he did his taxes last week his wife, (a cpa) said their after expenses he made 98k. I can't hardly believe it as he only ran for ats on specialised for 8 months of last year,

I have no problem with that number. I work about 9 months out of the year here and make more than him as a 1a driver.

The lease at ats isn't the typical $1 per mile plus fsc.

I have been on hometime for the last 10 days, but my last running week I averaged $3.87 per mile to the truck and $2.27 per mile to me after expenses.

I have averaged $2.79 per mile for 2018.
