It's not as bad as most think. Grab a bucket, double bag it, do your business and set the bag outside until you can dispose of it. Have your windows open to air out truck during, pop the top off a good scented spray can, good to go. Sometimes you're just not in the position to pull over for that real toilet. Sometimes, if you're out in the middle of nowhere, bring your bucket outside and enjoy the breeze.

you enjoy your bucket, until I get to a point where I think its a need im not using it. I have held it for hours with pain until I got somewhere to stop, probably not the best to do but my choice, I just dont want to be dealing with that in my truck and disposing of it.
I have used the side of a road once, was a backroad and deserted and I was out of hours so had no choice but to stay there.
One other time where I wasnt feeling too good I just sat at a truck stop and put my pta out a few hours until I knew I was ready to hit the road. I dread the day I get sick real bad, luckily I dont get sick very often at all.

Actually the Coleman Porti-Poti they sell at Walmart works pretty good. The unit is completely sealed and you put the chemical in it to nuetralize the smell. The only time unit is not sealed is when you open valve to flush it.

I try my best not to use it, but you know those times when you just have to go. It beats peeing in a bottle, baggy or getting out in freezing cold weather at midnight. Also, when you wake up and just have to go it is there.

I get no smell the thing. It last me about two weeks which is about the length of time I am out, so I can empty it in a RV dump at truck stops, rest areas or the RV dump station in my backyard.

Here is a link to the one I am going to get next http://www.walmart.com/ip/Global-Passport-4.8-Gallon-18-Liter-Portable-Toilet/12321234

The Coleman one works but if you don't get the lid twisted on to the bottom holding tank it will leak. I had this happen to me once and had to clean floor with clorox for an hour.

I prefer the double zip-lock bags or a nice wide bottle for number 1. Don't have to stop to use them like you do the port-a-potty. Number 2, I'm stopping ... somewhere, anywhere, ain't no way it's taking place in the truck.
