The front signs on my trucks were hinged at the bottom of the sign & folded under when not in use. Rear sign had a post that dropped into a 1" x 3" reciever. Very quick. Magnets for the flags. Cali dosnt require flags on the front bumper.

They're probably not legal everywhere, and not the most aerodynamic, but I sure enjoy having an air operated sign mounted on the headache rack.

I have one like that on my truck too. The Utah port was sure to point out that it could be mounted no more than 5 feet off the ground.Oxbow Thanks this.

Thanks cnspr, I'll keep that in mind. Wyoming tried to pass a similar law last year. Evidently one of the larger HH companies residing in the state had just purchased a number of new trucks equipped with the over cab signs, and protested vehemently. The state reversed their decision in a matter of weeks.
