You are 100% spot on that the predatory practice of some carriers forcing people into a lease purchase is the main problem.cke, TallJoe, Cattleman84 and 1 other person Thank this. -

Anytime the Government does one thing they affect many. I trust absolutely nothing that comes out of them at this point.
Those doing L/P need to be responsible for what they sign and do. Not the Government.
A few wording changes on a bill could easily jeopardize many. They are some slick mofos up there.drvrtech77, nredfor88, Vampire and 4 others Thank this. -
Anyone who thinks government is looking out for them is either already extremely wealthy, or a sucker.drvrtech77, cke, TheLoadOut and 2 others Thank this. -
primary motive is the removal of autonomy. cause it to be as hopelessly close to impossible as possible until he flops out exhausted to settle in to gifted shelter. what is the name of your enemy.

It's all about tax revenue. The IRS wants to be paid weekly. The government despises the independent contractor model. This a full on attack on workplace freedom.
If anyone thinks DC is worried about Sammy, who just leased a purple truck with dog prints on the side of it, is clueless.
Regardless I agree, this is one thing that everyone has to stick together on. I'm happy for Sammy, and will stick up for his freedom to make bad choices.drvrtech77, PoleCrusher, Hammer166 and 2 others Thank this. -
TheLoadOut and Vampire Thank this.
