Surprisingly, I'm driving commercial again. Schneider just needed better drivers and I had no safety issues, so..

I have learned that companies that criticize over small violations, don't really need drivers. They need better trainer's. Werner looks for reasons not to hire. Melton does the same. Swift does the same.

Thank you, Larry Gordon , is a good guy. Go with Gordon Trucking. Avoid Bear Trucking and Sonny Woodall. He is a Usurper who takes all the credit for what Eddie James built. Following Eddie's death, Sonny not only stole the credit for what Eddie build but , as the executor of Eddie's will., He said the will was lost. His children confirmed the will was in Eddie's safe a week before his death. Eddie trusted Sonny to follow his wishes, liquidate his estate and divide it amoung his 3 children,. Instead, with the help of Gina Huggins , they stole his estate and everything Eddie worked his life for.. His family recieved nothing. Anyone who thinks Sonny is a good guy, will be extremely disappointed. If he could do this to his Bestfriend. The man responsible for the Sucess of Bear Trucking, and Gatecity Beverage, he Brought Miller Brewing company with him. At this time Sonny was living in a 5th wheel at the yard. Bear only had one truck when Eddie started.. This isn't the first time he was the executor of a will. Silvia ,who was Leona Arnoffs longtime secretary at Gatecity beverage, and Sonnys girlfriend, at the time of her death. As executor he Cheated her only daughter out of her estate, knowing Silvia had instructed him to make sure she was the sole beneficiary . He really is a despicable human being , a thief, and will betray anybody, given the opportunity. Beware of Sonny Woodall he has NO Integrity and NO Soul. His long term addiction to Alcohol doesn't help. Good Luck.

 

Hello. I used to work HR for a trucking company for 5 yrs before I started driving with my husband. Most hiring is based off of the drivers background and PSP but also the companies CSA scores and the insurance company. If a company has a low score they need to hire drivers that have high scores (or perfect records to help raise their scores. This is also why lots of companies will just fire a driver if they get a ticket or accident even if they are typically a good driver, because they don't want the scores to take a hit or their insurance prices to go up. They care about the bottom line.

CSA scores are everything for companies - got this online... Your CSA scores determine whether your company is flagged for FMCSA intervention, selected for compliance reviews, or face higher insurance premiums. Poor scores in even one BASIC category can trigger DOT audits, roadside inspection targeting, and difficulty securing freight contracts.
