ATTENTION: CDL changes

Iowa has the same rule as ny for automatics.

 

well...we told ya.....

yesiree......many states are indeed putting the restriction on those CDL's....

why some simply do not listen to us, we will never know.

all students should demand a manual for the road test at the DMV....

oh well................some listen to what we say........some do not............

 

Yep you need to do a test with a manual gear box, after all if your becoming a professional driver you need to prove that you really are professional. Kind of like a pilot doing a flying test in a Cessna and expecting to be flying 747's

 

hmm...I may let my wife use friends we have in Fl. so she can get her CDL and team with me. She can't drive any manual transmission.

 

driving a big rig is for people who just want to drive a truck and grind gears. There seems to be a lot of gear heads on here.

but took tests on manual
people are never screwed except by their own ignorance or stupidity
moving state to state is just scamming the system anyway
but go get your white volvo and have a good time

 

I thought the testing in an automatic restriction was a known thing at least in Oklahoma I knew, just like a conceal carry license. You get it with a revolver, you can only carry a revolver.but do it the other way around, and test with a semi-auto and gun and you can shoot both o.o
