Question,,, Will I pass the drug test? Answer,,,, Probably not.
The last drug screen I went in for I asked the doctor if anyone actually ever fails a PRE employment test. His response was yes all the time, then he hesitated and said an employer last week sent in 25 applicants, 24 failed.
At my Wife's company they do a physical, drug screen, and extensive background check, they had a 75% drug screen failure rate. It was getting so expensive that now before they do anything the drug screen comes first.
How is it possible to fail so badly at life that you can't even pass a pre employment UA? -
Think of it this way if you do get caught, and you will, You will loose your driving career.
Somone who knows all the legal sites should post the penalties for poping positive. But the gist of it is you will never drive again. I have even heard of day labor geting turned down becouse of previous drug use from years past.
There are many jobs out there that wont look at your recreational drug use, Go look for those ones instead if you have to continue to use. a CDL driver is not one of them. -
While it is a bit of a trite question, the people that ask about the testing policy for the most part have quit using, and are paranoid about the overly intrusive test uncovering something in their past. Judging these people is just as unproductive. The best thing to do is just wait till six months after you quit before really pursuing a trucking career.

I'm not from America so I cant make a personal judgment on this.
Not worst case scenario but real sort of averages of a cross section of society.
What percentage of people do you estimate are drug users?
Are teens to 35 year old's the biggest users like the rest of the world? -
Those are the stats from the government, you can probably get more recent stats by Googling it.
My two cents is that the drug we have the most problems with is the legal one. Alcohol. There is a lot more drama about the illegal stuff, because it is illegal, but Alcohol messes up more lives than anything.
In general I am for decriminalization of drugs in society and spending the money we waste on policing and prisons on treatment and prevention, but I also believe certain industries should be no-tolerance
about drugs and alcohol. This includes Trucking.Tazz and Shoestring Thank this. -

It's a disturbing aspect of our culture that people, when told they can't do something, will immediately start to ##### and complain about it.
You can't drive a truck and take drugs or use alcohol, anybody who can't handle or understand why is an idiot. And if you quit, then you have to wait until they are gone from your system, you saying "I quit" is meaningless when it is still in your system.
