Attention Illegal Drug Users!

Drug tests are cheated everyday.

 

so that makes it okay to do drugs and drive?

Just because something isn't 100%, doesn't make it useless.
Even if drug tests only caught 50% of users (and I just totally made that number up), it means there are 50% less users on the road. 50% less chance some jack-off is gonna ram your truck in the TS, or run you off the road.

Plus I believe in Karma, the people who fake the test are the people who have some incident down the line that keeps them out of the industry forever (hopefully not fatal)

 

Probably true. But, I was interviewing with a tour bus company earlier this year and the manager told me it was getting harder and harder to find drivers that could pass a drug test, let alone find experienced drivers or drivers with a stable work history, clean back ground, etc. He said the problem is natonwide in his industry. We agreed it was probably similar in other industries as well. So, maybe a lot of cheaters with various methods to cheat, but it seems many are getting busted!

 

I inhaled quite frequently when I was younger, quit when I became a mechanic. It was fun back then. Now I'd rather not risk my career, plus all my old smoking buddies are still smoking, work in fast food, only ambition is getting some new kind of pot that's just the same as everything else with a new retarded name. I can also remember where I put things now, pretty happy about that. Sucks not being able to find things. It was a young n dumb party phase thing like everyone else. Only ever drank and smoked pot.

I can see how the regs would be inturpeted that way. My concern would be for the rx's that warn not to drive or operate machinery when using them or cause drowsiness.

I must say you are great part of this forum with your exp and knowledge of the regs.

It is actually very simple to pass a drug test. google it.
