I guess I must be the exception, but I generally do not have a problem with corners or changing lanes. Maybe I get in the correct lane earily, hmmmm. Or maybe I dont expect people to get out of my way because Im in a truck. Where I seem to have trouble is ccars pulling into the saftey cushion we leave between trucks in traffic, I dont mean normal lane changes but the guys that like to cut across two or three lanes to get to their exits..

i come from the north where we know what TURN SIGNALS are and MEAN, i have never seen as many non-driving sons of ####### as i have since i moved down here. i won't even get started on drivers in ga, blinkers are non existant in NC i'm not sure that when being inspected if they are checked lol. but at the same time i learned to watch out for those things and to watch drivers a lil more closely i can control what i do but not what they do and i try not to let it stress me out. -
Wait, you're from California? Nevermind all of that. -
I've been cussed out twice this week for driving carefully by someone with a yankee accent in what once used to be a hick town! LOL! From being recent OTR driver, I can just about tell by thier driving what state they migrated here from! -
I'm a wannabe trucker, gonna get into trukin school soon. I've noticed a few people on here that are in 4wheelers as well and show yall nothing but respect out on the road. I am one of them, if yall are trying to pass me I'll slow down and let you pass and signal ya when your clear. If i pass ya and even though im in a 4wheeler i still give you guys a thank you. Hell I prolly get more pissed off at people driving stupid around those monsters than the drivers themselves lol. If i'm next to you or behind and youre trying to make a turn I always try to back off and give you space. Thanks for what you do and keep on truckin
Coonass Thanks this. -
Its funny some of us go 2 or 3 million miles without even an incident, and other seemto blame everything on someone else. Its your job to go out of your way to protect everybody around you. Your suppose to be the professional, and your suppose to know better not them, they are not professional drivers. You as a porfessional driver can not ever let your guard down, ever. I do understand the bone headed moves that 4 wheelers and 18 wheelers for that matter make, and protecting them by being careful is part of the job.
