Right on. Gots to get that consistent paycheck or it just isn't worth it. In all seriousness, I'm glad you are doing well. My experience at May was very positive in that regards, always had good consistent weekly miles.

I'm out here to make money. I'd much rather be at home with my family. So if I'm going to be out here, it better be worth it. I was running down to the minuute every day...

Huh, I am averaging around 2800 or so miles every week since July. I was one of the top milers with 13000 miles each for the month of July and August. I spend most of my driving in the south and northeast, more miles, quicker. And have mastered the fine art of camping at receivers/shippers to maximize my availability. Another reason to stay away from truckstops.

Those beer loads suck, usually low miles and scale problems. Although I hear they got the scale at Coors fixed. I was there a month or so ago and noticed they put the lady in a seemingly bulletproof box. Theres always a line of truckers with overweight scale tickets, and she always says the same thing. "we wont cut weight unless we have 2 seperate overweight tickets from 2 different trucks". Maybe thats changed now that they have a scale.

But trucking in the west is a mileage killer. I constantly request to go east, I go deep into the northeast and south frequently. Sounds like they are keeping you in the west too much.

Last week.2500 miles, this week ending with 2000 I think maybe less, this week first load is only 300 miles. Dropped off today per appointment time 1530. Load tonight 2130, heAding to London, ky offload at 2100 there so less than 400 miles for two days. Anyone know any lot lizards need some company, I can sure use the money.;)

    Those miles would be OK,

IF you were home for 2-3 days every week !!!!

Okay, since you all posting your mile exploits, in August I drove and was paid for 13,586 miles with the company I went to work for after leaving May. Up and down the I-5 no less. 82% off my loads were drop & hook.

In addition, I was home an average of 3 nights and 4 days a week during that time ;)

I wanna play... I'm averaging 450 miles a week. I'm home everynight. However it is 100% unload and 60% load. LOL luckily I'm not getting paid by the mile!
