Company driver, looking to O/O sometime in the future. I have heard that it’s difficult to get loads with new authority. Does it matter how much experience I get / loads I take, or is it simply after a certain number of days i have it it gets easier to get loads?

With your user name it is difficult to think about you seriously. So...I know the answers but I won't tell.

Go to Facebook and type “new authority list”.

There are TONS of places that I found and saved.

At least with your username you're not stinking up the truck stops.

alot of brokers will work with new authorities as long as you have proper insurance, some want 90 days some want 6 months ran across one that wants a year. no big deal, it's alot more fun being on your own, more of a paperwork mess and all the things ya gotta keep up on but I wouldn't go back to being leased on with anyone.
