Anyone know approximately how much insurance would be running your own authority out in the Permian basin? I understand that their are a lot of variables that would make up the price. My drivers license is in Florida, was thinking of getting a license in Georgia since i hear Georgia insurance rates are alot cheaper. Whom are you going through to get it all done? thanks in advance.

You didn't specify what the commodity is. Sand or Crude oil?

Depending on your age and record but you’ll have to have a 5m policy so around 3k a month would b my guess. I have a 1m policy. I have new authority. A bro of mine is in his 20s with new authority and pays around 2700. After a few years it is supposed to go down extensively. But oilfield has higher policy. You’re better off leasing on if u only have one truck. If u have multiple trucks to bring in profit then ok. But by yourself is kinda hard
