    I didn't work for auto haulaway. Started at Maris, then went otr for 10 yrs.
    Came back to allied and then cassens.
    Sure miss Maris, if i could turn back time...lol.
    Where were you outta?

    I wasn't....my father worked there over 40yrs out of Talbotville yard.
    I used to take trips with him and was hoping I could find some of his old buddies.

    that was me training in the 9th line yard in Oakville.
    circa 1986???
    that was my stepfathers buffalo truck.
    he retired with 34 yrs service just as Maris was sold to Mc Callum.

    I worked in Talbotville for 8 yrs just before allied took it back and Ford closed it.
    The place probably looked the same...... never painted, heck, never cleaned inside the office.lol

    This is the AH yard in '70.


    I'm pretty sure I am a product of that Talbotville yard. Hahahaha

    Pretty empty yard at Christmas shut down.(Talbotville)
    This was the first load for Cassen ltd. Canadian division.
    They had an office in Windsor for years, but never had trucks until 2001.

    Imnuts did you live in St.T?
    I probably know, or know of your father, the car haul is a small world.
    Was he a broker?
