Not sure about the cost over there but usually an auto clutch is the same as a manual, no difference.
-
12 to 15 hundred dollar range.
-
yeah my company does not want to fix it which shocks me.They said they are going to have it towed from Jackson Tennessee to terminal in West Memphis and put the truck out of service. For 1200-1500 that seems pretty reasonable expense for a truck that still has life in it
Gears Thanks this. -
I wouldn't want to be paying that tow bill.
-
yeah does not make any sense to me at all.The guy at the dealership said they were in the process of getting the old clutch out and my company put a halt on it.Seems to me the towing bill will probably be somewhere in the neighborhood of the clutch repair
-
USA might send their own tow truck. They are using that as an excuse to take that 07 off the road. I'm surprised it's still out there. How many miles on it?
They can replace the clutch cheaper at the terminal and prep the truck for resell there.
I'll call my buddy over there and see if he heard anything and find out who they are sending to get you. -
gotcha, its got 470000 miles on it

Could not get a hole of him. I'll try again in the morning.

Ok he said hire outside company right now. Usually B&D towing. You'll ride back with them usually
