Any updates on this problem or I should say, any solutions? I just picked up a truck with all of the symptoms noted above plus when "F" "10" or other gears started flashing, shortly after that the speddo quit and a chjeck engine light came on. Had to kill power to TCU three times between Oklahoma and the Empire Freightiner dealer in Slidell, La to nurse it home. After last episode, I used the manual paddle shifter and it ran fine other than occasionally slipping out of 10th and then back in again or slipping into neutral and back into gear when the revs dropped back into green. Shop in Ardmore just weeks ago "fixed" problem with new x/y shifter, speed sensor, partial harness, new clutch, etc. Same problem popped up and was "fixed" by Empire and 30 miles away from shop all problems were there again. Back in shop. HELP!
Hello fellow drivers, im experiencing a problem im hoping someone could have an easy solution for. I drive a 2015 volvo auto ishift. Went to start this am and it wont start citing its not in neutral yet showing the N but displaying the shifter showing it in neutral. I can move the lever all i want and the corresponding letters D, R, N, display but it doesnt change the outcome. I have the same model and when it happened to me I tighted all my battery connections and it fixed the problem.
Question, lately this has been happening: At stop when I switch gear into reverse it will not engage, I go to neutral back to reverse and same thing happens then it will finally engage and when I stop and hit drive it does the same thing.
Someone please help! Automatic Eaton transmission. Truck wouldn’t start would flash “F”, changed the xy shifter and the harness. Everything seemed fine truck turned on and no more codes. Now truck won’t go from 2nd gear to 3rd???
Hello I’m having the same issues with my Eaton ultrashift 10speed. It’s getting stuck in gear and having hard downshifts and up shifts as well. I got the shift finger codes. What was your fix?
These transmissions will require replacement of the following parts eventually; ECA X-Y shifter Transmission harness Clutch In your case, I would be expecting to have to replace the X-Y shifter and we always recommend doing the harness on older units to help prevent intermittent issues.
