On a Hotshot forum, they complained about TX last year going after the hotshotters. Most of them had no signage, or authority.

I know of one in Illinois that was caught on I-39 within 15 miles of delivery. He had a CDL, no medical card, or long form physical. No authority, insurance, signs. Placed out of service, towed. He had to pay someone to finish the load. Fines will most likely be in excess of 3000.

He also will have to comply and it will be costly.

I am always glad to see this happen.

When the laws clearly state what they state its hard to feel a lot of sympathy. All tho its understandable that when it happens the guys it happen to are going to be pissed because some of the states haven't been enforcing the laws for a while.
