Automatic Tire Chains... Anyone else seen this?

    Yes I do! And as mentioned above by another user, once you have em, you never want to be without them. Hard packed snow and ice they are a dream, haven’t got to use them in deep snow yet but even the booklet says snow more than 6” and they lose their luster. Guys I work with say they flip em on in the mines too in the summer when the hill gets muddy. I don’t know about that or how good that works, but hell I’ll try anything once.

    I’m sure they’re good but limited use. If you ever need to go offroad in mud you could forget about it. Also, would you still carry a set of regular chains in case it gives up and dies on a mountain pass?

    love how the video shows him driving in snow but there is literally no snow underneath the truck..... how are the chains supposed to come out when they're caked with snow and ice already
