Never said I currently had two...
I said that I had one issued from Florida and then one issued from North Carolina.
Only had one at a time.
Edit: my intended point was that our CDLs are issued by the States not the Federal Gonvernment and I used my two personal examples. Sorry for the confusion.

Plenty of Dry/Reefer companies out here that use autos... The company I drive for has both Dry/Reefer and are 100% Autos and 100% no touch... They also have a Post CDL In House training program... Abilene Motor Express.
Jump back on that horse and do a bit of refresher training... Then you will be back in the saddle and running hard in an Auto.
Stay Safe,
MDfjrgerry Thanks this. -
Ya gotta be careful, it doesn't take much to confuse me!

So noted... But to be honest, it seems I do a good job of muddying the waters myself.
Cheers,
MDJReding Thanks this. -
Manuals wont go away,... BUT most companies are going autoshift. You are limiting yourself THAT much. There are a ton of companies that have the autoshift. If you like autoshift ,great,.. if you don't stop your #####ing.
-
Many companies are going to automatics, not autoshifts. Autoshifts are complete crap!
-
Some of the new ones ARE called autoshifts. Not my choice in words,...some companies with new trucks.
-
An actual automatic that calls itself an autoshift, that's NOT an auto shift trans? News to me but very confusing for people that have driven both.
