These freightshakers aint so bad.
*moves soaked wet paperwork off dashboard*
The leaking they do is a good feature. Saves money on showers.

Just found out yesterday the new ones leak too.
-
Dont leave any of your paperwork on the dash like I did this morningJenn72 Thanks this.

Until it shorts out an electrical connection and burns the truck to the ground?
-
The only time a Cascadia leaked was after I went in to a Love's in TN with very bad pavement. It twisted everything around.
I didn't even notice until the next big rain storm, and then I was flooding. The windshield gasket had popped out of place.
Leaks are easy to fix... just remount the glass with a new gasket. -
My cascadia has 8000 miles on it. It rained in Wy yesterday and my windshield was leaking in 3 places.
-
Sure makes me want a new freightshaker. lol My old 88 fld does not leak, and that thing has quite the life. lol I do wish it had electric wipers though. lol
-
I can't say much about factory quality control, but like I said it is easily fixed.
Well, maybe.
It could be that the glass itself is warped or otherwise flawed.
Or the frame of the truck in that area.
Isn't Duct Tape the end all and be all of trucker repairs?
People have built waterproof boats out of nothing else. -
The glued in windshield seem like bad idea vs ones with rubber seal. Freightliner has both now.
-
I didn't know that any of them had went to glue in windshields. That would not work in my program, I may change windshields several times a year on a bad year, and do it myself, no glue for me.
