I my humble opinion, a "REAL" truck driver is the one who drives both safely and courteously, regardless whether or not the truck driver is driving a manual transmission or an automatic transmission.

I was going to say, "no driver seat, now that's a trucker".

 

We all know the saying, "You can't teach an old dog new tricks" .....that's me. "Ruff Ruff......." No autos never for me.

 

First time I got into Chicago traffic after my knee surgery, I quit complaining about the auto's quirks.
