Greetings, I have a 2004 VNL with Eaton Autoshift transmission. The shift console is mounted to the right side of the drivers seat. It is bulky and really in my way. It makes it harder for me to get out of the seat to stand and enter the sleeper area. I was thinking about moving it from the seat to the dash, or to a floor mounted pedestal. has anyone ever relocated their console? Or, can you offer ideas on doing this task? Thanks in advance.
I have done this a couple of times all you need to do is extend wiring a bit not a big deal, i have mounted it right on top of the radio in the switch panel over there moved all switches next to dash valve panel, both times people are still using it and they love it.
