Its no big deal if you like the truck ..I bought my truck with a super 10 and I hate it.. I already got quotes on a remanufactured 13 speed about $2,000 and arround $600. labor ...thats after asking arround and looking for the best deal. because some people told me ten times that..I'll also throw in a new clutch while I am there so it will be about $3,500. with everything..

That's a sweet rig...IMHO, got to remember that you are also running a biz...dont fall in love with a truck if the $$$ are not right.

Don't worry, I don't fall in love with vehicles. There are hundreds more just like it coming down the line this next year.

    I passed on it.
They wanted mid 70's and claimed to pass on 72K. I offered 60K even, and I thought that was still too much for an 11 year old truck. 50K would be about right.
The autoshift killed it, along with the 315 wheelbase. That's just stretched out a little too long for a solid resale number. It just limits potential buyers IMHO..

I wish i would have found this forum earlier as it seems there may be a different opinion here as to the best way to swap these

I have a 2001 pete with 18sp autoshift. tranny is sitting on the shop floor right now till morning when its going to the tranny shop to get internals swapped to a different case. was told i needed different case as this one doesn't have the lockout pin hole to keep tranny from switching ranges while in gear. also have ecm out to get programmed to a manual shift. also a couple gears that are different as well as some sliders?

Did i have other options? Also how will i get a speed signal now? Seems the speed sensors where wired in the half mile of harness i removed from the autoshitf

When I replaced the cover, I lost range behavior valve, RTO-16910C-AS2 doesn't have place for installation new one ( air operated). How did you solve this problem ?

You will have to drill it and mount it yourself.

Other solution to add Meritor electrical knob and neutral switch FUL22941, in this case you don't need drill a hole's and change components
