    basically that is likely the exact reality i face. My brother just got back from a trip, he is a certified diesel mechanic. He is going to give it a brief inspection before the dealer yanks the clutch out for replacement. He still thinks its the clutch brake or the linkage (which i adjusted tight)

    It costs $2-2.5k to convert this tranny to manual, including parts and labor.

    not sure what changed but my brother the ex diesel mechanic looked at it today, tighted the linkage alittle more and it went right into gear, i drove it over to another mechanic shop who is going to possibly remove the clutch brake, install a new one, and do something to reset and possibly readjust the non adjusting clutch.... but i couldnt believe it actually drove and shifted great! only realy problem with shifting is from neutral, all other shifting is fast and solid.

    Those 3 pedal autos are pretty rare but I do seem to recall that the only time the clutch is ever utilized is during take off and stopping. Once its rolling the computer just floats it through the gears.

    New mechanic shop says clutch hrake looks good 1/3 worn, clutch alittle less than 1/2 life on it.... no clue what to do next. Says its working and no codes

    Electrical Gremlins .

    I would replace all of the sensors on the truck for a starting point.
    Then run it .

    No , no fault codes. The clutch was out of alignment... whether that means a bad clutch or what, i have no idea

    Ok with engine not running reach in and grab the clutch brake. Will it rotate in a circle? If the answer is yes, the replace.
