Regardless, they are almost ALL long. If you have time on the clock they will find something for you to do.

Perhaps...with a mega carrier OTR it's a lot of sitting and waiting because they assign a 3 day load 4 days to complete.

I noticed you changed your profile picture. Just wanted to say to anyone that it may concern... If you are a big fatty, you should definitely lose weight before, during, and after starting driving. Companies won't tell you but there's a weight limit on the driver's seat. It's 300 pounds. Also, fattys are less valuable in the market place, it's just a fact, Google it. Higher risk and lower reward for the money. Most companies view drivers as highly replaceable commodities. I'm not calling anyone fat, cupcake. I'm just saying be not fat and it'll help.

I think this comment is a low blow, I would never say something like that. Overweight people can do just as good of a job, and today is a form of discrimination. I'd hire someone on their ability, not what they look like. 74% of all Americans are considered overweight, and a large portion are truck drivers. Besides, 6 months of fingerprinting toilet paper, be slim in no time.

Yeah you're right, it was a low blow. I was rage baiting to try to get a reaction. Not because I don't like this person, but because I hope they do well and figure it out. Plus I know how good of resource this forum can be. Also I found it kind of odd the OP was not replying at all to this thread, but is still lurking around other parts of the forum.

Well, you scared them off,, I know, "negative reinforcement", is what my old man practiced, "you'll never be good at anything you screwup", thinking, hopefully it would give me incentive to "oh yeah, I'll show you", and the old man was validated by that. Today that doesn't work so well, we found, and a more positive approach is needed. Years ago, that didn't bother us, we had nobody to console us, and had to think for ourselves. If you couldn't take any abuse, then trucking wasn't for you.o_O

The picture is virtually unknown actor Jerry Messing.......just sayin'.

OP could be the same size, who knows.

I hope he makes it, but my money is on he won't.......seems too wishy-washy.
