Our Drops are either $20 or $25 each. It depends what terminal the load origionated from.

Average I've seen over the 20yrs in the business is first stop free then $15 - $20 for each drop after. Some do 1st free, 2cd $15 with everone after that $20. I'd look for a company that paid at least $15 for second through last drops but make sure you take into consideration the total compensation package. If a company pays you $25/drop after the 1st but does mostly drop and hook and pays .30/mile and another pays $15 for every drop after the first and .40/mile but averages 2drops per load then you probably will come out ahead with the second depending on average length of hauls. Ask these questions and then get out a calculator and figure it up. I drove for a company the did the $15 and $20 and thought it would be cool but then I ran into a few 8 pickup loads that lasted 2 days so ended up losing out in the end.

company I'm with now is $15 after the first but it might as well be $1,000 because I can't remember the last time I had a multi-drop load and I've never had a multi-pickup with them.

After looking around I'm still thinking Maverick will be a better fit for me. As per their site, the flatbed division pay is .40+ a mile, 85% of drivers make it home on the weekends(I'm assuming for the restarts), $500 orientation bonus, $500 sign on bonus(after 6 months from what I read) and looking at their site.... have pretty decent equipment. If anyone has anything that I should know about this company feel free to let me know! Thanks again
