32,000 truck and trailer +/- 2,000, depending, would be my guess .... Light weight flatbed? 53' reefer?, Attention devoted to weight savings or comfort? etc
-
My 2013 cascadia with 53' reefer was 35,000. With the reefer tank full also.
-
2007 Century, 2000 Great dane dry van, 33,000
2007 Century 2003 Great Dane Reefer, 34,300.
2007 Centruy, 79 Corn Husker, 27,000.
All those with full tanks and APU. this is with a 70" condo sleeper too. -
thanks. I drive a 2006 International with a 53' dry van trailer. I know the true answer to the question would be to weight the rig with full tanks and I would know for sure. Just was curious if any experienced driver would already have a good idea.
-
You should weight it anyway and have that written down. It should be a MUST KNOW number on your equipment. how else you going to know if you can even haul it or where to start with loading that rig. -
09 volvo, 300 gall fuel. 53 foot stoughton dry van = 34,000.
-
2011 Cascadia D15 13 speed, full of fuel, and empty traiers. 25100.
2007 Columbia Benz 450hp 10 speed. fuel full. empty trailer 23900/ -
what kind of trailer?
-
I was assuming the OP was doing some sort of "research". But absolutely, you need to know your empty/fueled weight with the trailer [type] you're typically pulling. When i say know, you need a CAT scale ticket paid for by you and kept or memorized for future reference when looking at bills and estimated weights a shipper put on you.
peterd Thanks this.
