In a normal manner of speaking I would agree with you, but depending on who or what organization you speak with, it's 2 different things. A short cut goatee might be able to be seal in a gas mask if needed; A full on smart-cut beard can't.
They went to the trouble of making a beard diagram. I saw one in color today here in Memphis. 1/2 inch thickness is true. Mutton chops are out. Mustache and soul patch are in. Amish beard is in as long it's 1/2 inch thick or less...
i got a buudy that drives local for averitt and his front line leader said he doesnt care what the policy is now that there wont be any beards untill they have a meeting
I'm already sporting my full 1/2" long beard. I run flatbed so don't interact with a lot of office personnel but the first FLL that says something to me is going to get an earful
Next it will be Tatoo's, body piercings, and dread locks will be OK........The available new driver pool is diminishing....got to get new drivers in those MT truck seats!
does any one know of any company that allows bearsds but trimmed neatly though. Either CDL A OR CDL B COMPANYS.
Just go to the nearest truck stop fuel desk, look for a driver with a beard and ask what company he drivers for. If your lucky you will pick on that speaks English.
