I talked to a recruiter from Averitt and he told me I couldn't get a female trainer because they are all down south. I'm in Michigan. Do you think that is accurate or should I put an application in?
-
There is a really good female driver out of Kalamazoo, I see every once and a while.
-
Does Adveritt hire grads out of trucking school? And do they have tuition reimbursement?
-
They hire graduates from approved schools but no reimbursement that I'm aware of.
-
How about a rider policy? Does Averitt allow riders?
-
They do, but more restrictive than it once was; only legally married spouse allowed.crunchy Thanks this.

They do hire out of an approved school as MUSTANGGT said. I am one of those folks. Graduated from ATI, and I have been told from Averitt, that after 6 months, (I am signing on as the student driver program) that I will get 1500.00 tuition reimbursement back. (This same info is also on the website under the student driver)

Any info on the dedicated family dollar account?

I was told during my process, that training has to be within 150 miles of the service center I am going to work out of. So if the closest one from you doesn't have any female certified trainers, then you may not be able to run out of the Mich. SC. Personally I would put in for it anyway. Training is essentially team driving, hence why Averitt may not want you to train with a male driver. But you never know until you try right?
